My First Mother's Day

This time last year I was pregnant with my little mini me ready to pop. It was my last month of pregnancy. I can't believe how time has flown by and it's already my first Mother's Day AND my mini is 11 months old. My husband, Avery and I made a weekend trip to Savannah and stayed with my parents for Mother's Day. It was relaxing and it always feels so good to be back at home at my parents (home cooked Korean meals, y'all)! I celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday since we had to drive back to Atlanta early on Sunday. I got to sleep in while my parents watched Avery and when I woke, I got dressed and Greg and Avery gave me my Mother's Day gifts!

Greg spoiled me this Mother's Day and I told him that he had spent way too much, but he said he wanted to make it special since it was my first. I am seriously so spoiled, y'all. Avery's gift had not shipped yet so I'm getting it later this week. My Kendra Scott Shoulder Duster earrings are out of stock, but shop my bracelet here: Kendra Scott Nicolas Cuff Bracelet in Gold $130

It was a perfect day. We spent the rest of the day doing a little day drinking and grilled out some Korean food. Before having Avery, I always wondered what kind of mother I would be. She has made me a better person and I never knew I could love such a tiny human so much. I am so glad I was chosen to be her mama, she really is the best baby I could have asked for. I am looking forward to our bond growing stronger and watching her grow into a beautiful young woman.

My dress is from Francesca's but is out of stock, and Avery's outfit and my mom's dress are a TJ Maxx find. I hope all you mamas had a wonderful Mother's Day and got all kinds of loving and kisses!
